Given, area of the cross section of pipe = 5 cm2

Speed of the water flowing out of the pipe = 30 cm/sec

Now, volume of the water flowing out of the pipe in one second = area of the cross section * 30

                                                                                         = 5 * 30

                                                                                         = 150 cm3

Volume of the water flowing out of the pipe in one minute = 60 * 150

                                                                                  = 9000 cm3

Since 1000 cm3 = 1 litre

So, 9000 cm3 = 9 litres

Hense, Volume of the water flowing out of the pipe in one minute is 9 litres.

Answer:

Given, area of the cross section of pipe = 5 cm2

Speed of the water flowing out of the pipe = 30 cm/sec

Now, volume of the water flowing out of the pipe in one second = area of the cross section * 30

= 5 * 30

= 150 cm3

Volume of the water flowing out of the pipe in one minute = 60 * 150

= 9000 cm3

Since 1000 cm3 = 1 litre

So, 9000 cm3 = 9 litres

Hense, Volume of the water flowing out of the pipe in one minute is 9 litres.
