Answer:

Volume = 44/21 m^3

C.s.a = 44/7 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Litres of water the hemisphere bowl will contain = volume of the hemispherical bowl

Radius = 100cm = 1m

Volume of a hemisphere = 2/3×pi×r^3

Volume = 2/3×22/7×1×1×1

Volume = 44/21 m^3

C. S. A of hemisphere = 2×pi×r^2

C.s.a = 2×22/7×1×1

C.s.a = 44/7 m^2

The bowl will hold 44/21 m^3 of water and it's c.s.a is 44/7 m^2

Given :----

  • radius of Hemisphere = 100cm.

To Find :---

  • Volume of Hemisphere bowl ?
  • CSA of Hemisphere bowl ?

Formula used :-----

  • Volume of Hemisphere = 2/3 πr³
  • CSA of Hemisphere = 2πr²
  • 100cm = 1m .

___________________________

Solution :------

We can say that, radius = 100cm = 1m .

Now , putting values in above told formula we get,

→ Volume of Hemisphere bowl = 2/3 × 22/7 × (1)³ = (44/21)

CSA of Hemisphere bowl = 2 × 22/7 × (1)² = (44/7)

_____________________________

Hence, Volume of Hemisphere bowl will be (44/21)m³ and CSA of of Hemisphere bowl will be (44/7) .
