5% (w/v) solution means that there is 5 gm glucose present in every 100 ml of this solution .

5gm---------------> 100 ml

1gm-----------------> 100/5 =20ml

75gm--------------> 75 x 20 = 1500 ml = 1.5 litres

so we will take 1.5 litre of this solution to obtain 75 gm glucose.
