how many litres of water flow out of a pipe Having an area of cross section 5 cm2 in one minute ,if the speed of water in the pipe is 30cm/sec

Area of the cross section of the pipe=5cm2

Speed of the water flowing into the pipe= 30cm/sec

Volume of the water flowing out of the pipe in 1 second= area of cross section * 30

=5cm2 * 30cm

=150cm3

Therefore, volume of water flowing out of the pipe in one minute=60 * 150cm3

=9000cm3

=9000/1000 litres=9 litres

Thus, the volume of water flowing out of the pipe=9 litres
