how many litres of water will flow in 7 minutes from a cylinder pipe 1 cm in diameter ,if the water flows at a speed of 30 km per hour

Given :

diameter is 1 cm. so radius = d/2 = 1/2 cm


 {r}^{2}  =  \frac{1}{4}

Given : 30 km per hour

1 km = 1000 m

30 km = 30 x 1000 = 30,000 m


1 hour = 60 minutes.

1 minute = 60 seconds

60 minutes = 60 x 60 = 360 seconds.


30,000 ÷ 360 = 83.33


Flow of water in 7 minutes -

= 3.14 x 1/4 x 83.33 x 60 x 7

= 2746.4 cm
