Answer:

144 m^2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Length ( l ) = 8 m

Breadth ( b ) = 5 m

Height ( h ) = 4 m

LSA of rectangular tank = 2 ( l + b ) h = 2 ( 8 + 5 ) 4 = 8 ( 13 ) = 104 m^2

Area of base of the rectangular tank = l × b = 8 × 5 = 40 m^2

Required tin = LSA of rectangular tank + Area of base of the rectangular tank = 104 + 40 = 144 m^2

Final ans. = 144 m^2.

Hope it helps u !!!!!!!!!!!
