How many marks are awarded for writing given in maths?

In 3 marks question 1/2 marks are given.

And in 4 marks question 1 mark is awarded.

In 2 marks question no marks are given until the student is about to fail. If the student got very low marks then the teacher give the child 1 or 1/2 marks.

I have asked this to the invigilator in maths paper(Boards).
