Perimeter basically means the total length of each and every side that the following shape has

We can solve this problem in a jiffy with a very simple mathematical formula.

The formula is: number of sides (the length of the side)

The sides to a square: 4

This is because we have to find the perimeter of the square as we have to surround the steel around it.

So now we do the steps:

4(0.223) = 0.892meters

(Here the answer is 0.892 meters and meter square because we are adding the one value 4 times which just suggests the total length of the shape)  

Hence we will need 0.892 meters of steel to side a square whose length is 0.223 meters.
