How many metres of carpet 1 m wide will be required to cover the floor of a room 10 m by 6 m?​

Area of the floor= l*b

= 10m*6m

= 60m²

Area of the carpet = 1m*1m

=1m²

No. of carpets used to cover the floor= 60m²/1m²= 60

Therefore,the answer is 60 carpets
