How many metres of cloth of 1.1 m widhtg will be required to make a conical tent whoae vertical height is 12 m and base radius is 16 m? Find also the cost of cloth used at the rate of rs 14 per metre.

Therefore, Curved surface area of cone=

 \begin{lgathered}\begin{lgathered} \sf \pi \times r \times l \\ \sf = 3.14 \times 16 \times 20 \\ \sf = 1005.71\end{lgathered}\end{lgathered}

Length of cloth = 1005.71 /1.1 = 914.28.

Thus, cost of cloth =

= 914.28 × 14.

= rs 12799.92.
