how many mitotic divisions will take place to produce 512 cells from a single parent cell?

Total number of cells= N x 2n (N=initial number of cells that had undergone mitosis, n = number of cycles
Here, N = 1 and during mitosis each cell produces 2 new cells
Therefore, ​1 x 2n = 512
2n = 29
n = 9 cycles

9 mitotic division.
since one mitotic  division produce 2 cell. So we may calculate accordingly...
