HOW MANY ML OF S02 GAS ARE PRESENT AT STP IN A 100g SAMPLE THAT IS 6.4% SO2 BY MASS ?????

We Know... That


Wt. in gram/Molecular Weight = Mole


So, 100/64 [ mol. wt. of SO2 is 64}


And it is asked for STP


So, 100*22.4/64


2240/64


= 35


So now the SO2 is 6.4 percent in the sample


Therefore 6.4 * 35/100


= 224/100


= 2.24 mL
