2Mg+O2

→2MgO

1 mole of O2

is required for 2 Moles of Mg

5 Moles of O2

is required for 10 Moles of Mg

So , 32×5g of O2

is required = 160 g

160 g of O2

is required to combust 10 Moles of Mg

2Mg+O2=2MgO

weight of MgO is 40

weight of 6 MgO is 240

then the equation is,

6Mg+3O2=6MgO

therefore, 6moles of oxygen is needed
