Atomic mass of oxygen = 16 u
So, mass of 0.5 mole of oxygen = 16*0.5 *2
= 16 grams
Mass of 1 mole of oxygen = 16 *2 grams = 32g

Given mass / molar mass * avagadro number
=16 / 32 * 6.022 * 10^23
=1/2 * 6.022*10^23
