Explanation:

first have to find no. of moles

formula = mass/molar mass

given :-

mass of water(H2O) = 120g

molar mass of H2O = (atomic mass of H)2 + (atomic mass of O)

= 1×2 + 16 = 18

hence, no. of moles = 120/18 = 6.66

but 1 mole = 6.022× 10²³ molecules

we have 6.66 moles then no. of molecules = 6.66× 6.022×10²³

hence no. of molecules = 40.10×10²³ molecules
