Dear Student,
◆ Answer -
- Number of O2 molecules = 1.505×10^23 molecules
- Moles of O atoms = 0.5 mol
● Explaination -
Moles of O2 are -
n(O2) = W / M
n(O2) = 8 / 32
n(O2) = 0.25 mol
No of O2 molecules are -
N(O2) = n(O2) × NA
N(O2) = 0.25 × 6.022×10^23
N(O2) = 1.505×10^23 molecules
If all O2 molecules are split into O-atoms, moles of O-atoms are
n(O) = 2 × n(O2)
n(O) = 2 × 0.25
n(O) = 0.5 mol
Thanks dear...
