(a) 1 dm³ = 1 L

one mole of any atoms or molecules occupies 22.4 L

So, no. of moles in 44.8 L =  \frac{44.8}{22.4} = 2 moles

(b) 1 cm³ = 1 ml and, 1000 ml = 1 L

750 ml = 0.75 L

No. of moles of gas in 0.75 L = \frac{0.75}{22.4} = 0.0355 moles (approx)
