C2H6 +7/2O2———->2CO2+3H2O

2 moles of CO2 is produced from=1 mole ethane

1 mole of CO2 is produced from =0.5 mole ethane

=0.5 x 30=15 gm Ethane.

0.5 mole or 15 gm Ethane is required to produce 44 gm.of CO2.
