molecular mass of H20 = 18 g
18 g of water= 1mol
1 g = 1/18 mol
180 g= 180×1/18= 10 mol

Solution :

we need to find out number of moles present in 180g of water molecules.

we know that,

n = Given mass/molar mass

where,

  • n = number of moles

Molar mass of water H2O :

= 1 × 2 + 16

= 18 g

number of moles :

= 180g/18g

= 10 mol

Hence

  • Number of moles present in 180g of water molecules is 10mol
