How many moles of helium gas occupy 2.4 litres at 0℃ at 1 atmospheric pressure

P = 1 atm

V = 2.4 l

T = 0℃ = 273k

n = ?


Apply. PV = nRT

1 × 2.4 = n × 0.0821 × 273

2.4 / 22.4 = n

n = 0.107

Hence it contains 0.107 moles
