Answer:

So 2 mole HCl produce 1 mole of hydrogen gas. So Zinc is the limiting reagent. 6.50 gram Zn reacts with 6.50 ×1.11 gram of HCl = 7.215 gram of HCl. 65.38 g of Zinc produce 2 gram og H2 gas.

Answer:

Zn + 2HCl ZnCl2 + H2

  • 6.5 g of Zn is 0.1 mole of Zn (A≈65)

  • So one mole of zinc requires 2 mole of HCL but we only have 0.1 mole of each, Zn will be limiting agent(all of zinc won't react) and 0.1 mole of HCL will react with only 0.1/2 mole of zinc.

  • One mole of zinc give one mole of hydrogen so 0.1 /2 mole of zinc will give 0.1/2 mole of hydrogen.
