the sequence is 17,23....491,497.
a=17
d=6
tn=497
tn=a+(n-1)d
497=17+(n-1)6
497-17=(n-1)6
n-1=480÷6
n=80+1
n=81
there are 81 natural numbers between 15 to 500 when divided by 6 leave remainder 5.
hope this helps you:-))))

The A.P. will be,

17,23,29,.......,497

here,

a=17, d=6, n=?

tn= a+(n-1)d

therefore,

497= 17+(n-1)6

497= 17+ 6n-6

497= 11+6n

6n= 497-11

6n= 486

n= 486/6

n= 81

Therefore, there are 81 natural numbers between 15 to 500 which leaves 5 as a remainder after dividing by 6.
