Relative molevular mass of co2 is44.(O=16,C=12).so the number of atoms in 44g is6.022×10^23(avegadro constant).therefore the number of carbon atoms in 22g is6.022×10^23/2.as in one atom there is only one atom of carbon. 22 g of CO2, divided by 44 g/mole of CO2 means there are 0.50 mole of CO2.
