how many no. lying between 100 and 1000 can be formed with the digits 0,1,2,3,4,5 if the repetition is not allowed and it's permutations and combination question so please don't give wrong answer.

6!/3! - 5!/3!

 =  \frac{6 \times 5 \times 4 \times 3 \times 2 \times 1}{3 \times 2 \times 1}  -  \frac{5 \times 4 \times 3 \times 2 \times 1}{3 \times 2 \times 1}  \\  \\  = 120 - 20 \\  \\  = 100
