 as, the molecular mass of CaCO3 = 40 + 12 + 16 x 3 = 100

then, no. of moles = 1/ 100                                                                                                    =0.01 moles

no. of molecules = 0.01 x 6.022 x 10 ^23

=6.022 x 10^ 21 molecules

and hence, the no. of carbon atoms = 1 x 6.022 x10^21

=6.022 x 10^ 21 atoms of carbon
