H = 1 × 2 = 2

O = 16 = 16

H2O = 18ml (or) g

(because 1g = 1ml then 18g can be changed to 18ml)

molecules =

given mass × molecules in 1 mol of H2O

mass in 1 mol

= 27 × 6.02 × 10^23

molecules = 1.5 × 6.02 × 10^23

or further simplified as 9.03 × 10^23
