How many non square numbers lie between the following pairs of numbers 100 square and 101 square 90 square and 91 square 1000 square and 1001square

1. this could be soved by using 2n property:
n=small consicutive number i.e.,100
100*2=200
therefore 200 squares lie between 100 and 101


2. 90^2 = 8100
91^2 = 8281
8281 - 8100 + 1 = 180
hence 180 squares lie between 90 square and 91 square


3. this could be done by the following identity:
a^2 - b^2 whuch is,
(a + b) (a - b)
lets substitute the value
(1000 + 1001) (1000 - 1001)
(2001) * (1)
2001
as the 2001 could include one of the two numbers either 1000 or 1001
so the answer is 2001 - 1 = 2000
therefore 2000 squares lie between 1000 and 1001 square
