there are 5 types of noun :-

1) common noun

2) Proper noun
eg - Taj Mahal ,Ram ,Amitabh Bachchan etc.

3) collective noun
eg - group of bees is Swarm of bees
group of Wolf is pack of wolves

4)material noun
eg- wool ,wood ,rubber

5)abstract noun
