There are two nuclei present in zygote.

Explanation:

  • A zygote is basically formed when a single sperm cell from male organism and single egg cell from female organism combine to form one single entity.
  • This single-cell entity called zygote contains two nuclei, one which comes from sperm cell and other which comes from egg cell.
  • The zygote then divides further through mitosis after which cells will specialize and start dividing further.
