Explanation:

In formation of zygote when the sperm and the ovum meets, the Acrosome present in the sperm blocks the entry of other sperms through Zona Pellucida layer. And hence starts the final meiosis. Which results in exclusion of the second polar body. Now when they meet both of them have their respective nucleus and respective halved chromosome number. After meeting the chromosome no. forms to 2n again and then later the nucleus from both the cells fuses together to form uni nucleated zygote.
