We know,

Molar mass of CO₂ = 12 + 2×16 = 12 + 32 = 44g

No of moles in CO₂ = Weight in g/Molecular weight = 100/44 = 2.27 mol

Number of C atoms in 100g of CO₂ = No. of moles of molecules × Avogadro's constant

= 2.27 × 6.022× 10²³

= 13.68 × 10²³

= 1.368 × 10²⁴
