On straight lines the word intercept has many meanings in this question intercept means the distance.

So here it is asking that the number of lines parallel to the line 2x+ 6y-7=0 and have distance 10 between the coordinate axes.

So there can be only two lines parallel to line 2x+ 6y-7=0 and distance have distance 10.

And that two lines are on either positive or on negative side of line 2x+ 6y-7=0.
