how many numbers are there in between 100 and 1000 such that atleast one of their digits is 8

100-800 : 19*7 + 1 = 134
800-900 : 99
900-1000 : 19
Total nos. : 134 + 99 + 19 = 252

90 number are lying in btw 100-1000.
