how many numbers between 101 and 800 inclusive are not divisible by 5

Hope this will help you-
the number 800 is divisible by 5 ,so we might as well count up to 799 . The first digit is then chosen among 1-7 ,the second can be anything ,the last one from 8 (not 0,5) .this gives us 7× 10 ×8 number ( note that we don't count 100 automatically so starting 101 is no problem )
