How many ohms of resistance must be present in a circuit that has 120 volts and a current of 10 amps?

Acc. to Ohms law

V = 120V

I = 10A

V =IR

120 = 10*R

R = 12Ω

According to ohms law

V = I*R
120 = 10*R
R= 120/10
R= 12 Ohms

hence 12 ohms of resistance is present in the circuit
