Answer:

The food chain is comprised of different species which depend on each other for energy. The producers are the plant species which trap the energy from the sun and nutrients from the soil for the production of food in the form of carbohydrate. The other organisms which cannot prepare the food, depend on the producers are known as the heterotrophs. These are the consumers which feed on the producers.

Herbivores, Carnivores, Omnivores all together called as heterotrophs all are dependent on the producer for the preparation food.

Explanation:

  • In food chain we can see that how an inter relation is linked in between different stage of life. Herbivores which are only green plants eater are fully dependent on producer, Carnivores and Omnivores take meat and other all alternative food. Producer means green plant produces their food in presence of sun light and collects data from under ground sources which is not possible for three other successive stages of animal beings.
