From the figure

∠1 ≅ ∠ 5      pair of corresponding angles

∠2 ≅ ∠ 6      pair of corresponding angles

∠3 ≅ ∠ 7      pair of corresponding angles

∠4 ≅ ∠ 8      pair of corresponding angles

Hence in total 4 pairs of corresponding angles are formed due to transversal of two parallel lines
