2x=8-4y
X=4-2y.... eq. 1
12y=24-6x
Y=2-1/2x..... eq. 2
Now putting x value from eq.1 in 6x+12y=24
6(4-2y) +12y=24
24-12y+24y=24
2-y=24
-y=24-2
Y=-22 ...... eq.3
Now put the y value from eq.3 in 2x+4y=8
2x+4(-22)=8
2x-88=8
2x=8+88
X=48
