The number of parallel of latitude that can be drawn on the globe at an interval of 10 minutes is 16.

The parallels can be drawn at 80,70, 60, 50, 40. 30, 20,degrees south and again 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80 degrees north.

We cannot draw them at poles and equator.

ANSWER:

On each hemisphere 9 parallel of latitudes can be drawn at the interval of 10 degree. So, this makes total of 18 parallels in both northern and southern hemisphere at the interval of 10 degree.

EXPLANATION:

Since 1 degree = 60 minutes

This makes 18 parallel at the interval of 10 degree equal to

18*60= 1080 parallels of latitude

So, total 1080 parallels of latitude can be drawn on the globe at an interval of 10 minutes.
