Two or maximum three parties are good for democracy. Strong opposition party is essential for true democracy.If number of parties more than two or three, no single party will be able to get clear majority in election.This situation compel to form collition govt.(A govt.of two or more parties collition).A collition govt. have to work under undisclosed agreement of ruling parties.Therefore it can’t work freely.And otherhand ,when number of parties more than three ,opposition party will be very weak,it can’t perform duty of opposition party properly ,in the house
