For the varandha

Length = 60m = 60*10 dm = 600 dm
Breadth = 6 m = 6*10 dm  = 60 dm

Area = L*B
           = 600 * 60
           = 36000  dm^{2}

For a paving Stone

Length = 10 dm
Breadth = 9 dm

Area = L*B
           = 10*9
           = 90  dm^{2}

No. of paving stones required = Area of varandha / Area of a paving stone
                                                   = 36000 / 90
                                                   = 400
