answer : there are two peptide linkage are present in a tripeptide .

explanation : When two molecule of –amino acids similar or different combine in this way that the amino group of one molecule with carboxy group of the other molecule, this result in the elimination of water molecule and the formation of new bond-CO NH- . This type of bond is called peptide bond or peptide linkage.

in case of tripeptide , three amino acid with two peptide linkage forms tripeptide.

A peptide bond is a chemical bond formed between two amino acid molecules when the carboxyl group of one amino acid molecule reacts with the amino group of the other molecule, releasing a molecule of water (H2O).When two molecule of –amino acids similar or different combine in this way that the amino group of one molecule with carboxy group of the other molecule, this results in the elimination of water molecule and of new bond-CO NH- is formed . This type of bond is nothing but the peptide bond or peptide linkage.

Hence in case of tripeptide , three amino acid with two peptide linkage forms tripeptide.
