For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination. Candidates will have to score a minimum of 75% (for SC/ST it is 65%) in their class 12th or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards to be considered for admissions.

For admissions to NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs: Candidates need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.

The Process

Appear for XIIth Board examinations ( Score good )

Appear for JEE main(Score Good)

Wait for results (Qualify)

Wait For declaration of AIR.

Register for Josaa counselling.

You will get NIT if your rank is in the range for the college of your choice.
