hi friend,
the answer is

Place value is basically how the value of a digit changes, depending on where that digit is in the number. For example, in 456, 5 has a place value of fifty because it is in the ten's place, 6 has a value of 6 because it is in the one's place, and 4 has a value of 4 hundred because it is in the hundred's place.

This is opposed to face value, which is just the value of the digit and does not include its place in the number. For example, in 456, 5 has a place value of 50, but a face value of 5.

In the International place value system, there are three places for ones, tens, and hundreds, then a comma, then a place for thousand, ten thousand and hundred thousand, then a comma, and then a million.

For example, the number 294726529 would be written properly in the international system as

294,726,529

So it would be called two hundred ninety four million, seven hundred twenty six thousand five hundred twenty nine.

In the Indian system, there is a place for ones, one for tens, one for hundreds, then a comma, then a place for thousand, one for ten thousand, then a comma, then a place for lakh, then a place for ten lakh, then a comma, then a place for crore.

So the same number, 294726529, would be written properly in the indian system as:

29,47,26,529

And would be written as twenty nine crore forty seven lakh twenty six thousand five hundred twenty nine.
