how many persons can be accommodated in a hall of dimensions 16m×12.5m×4.5m, assuming that 3.6m cube of air is required for each person ?

Volume of hall = 16*12.5*4.5
                        = 900 m³

Volume of air taken by each person = 3.6 m³

So, No. of Persons = 900/3.6 = 250 persons

Volume of room = length × breadth × height

= 16m × 12.5m × 4.5m

= 900m³

Volume of air = 3.6m³

Number of persons that can be accommodated


 =  \frac{volume \: of \: room}{volume \: of \: air}

 =  \frac{900m {}^{3} }{3.6m {}^{3} }

= 250


So,


250 persons can fit.
