  • Pieces of \sf\frac{12}{5}metres can be cut from \sf\frac{31}{5}metres long cloth.

To Find:-

  • How many pieces of \sf\frac{12}{5}metres can be cut from \sf\frac{31}{5}metres long cloth ?

Solution:-

Let's understand

Here, pieces of 31/5 metres cloth and we have to find pieces of cloth from 12/5 metres.

Pieces of cloth = ( \sf\frac{31}{5}metres - \sf\frac{12}{5}metres)

 \sf \implies \: pieces \: of \: cloth = ( \frac{31}{5} - \frac{12}{5} ) metres\\ \\ \sf \implies \:pieces \: of \: cloth = \frac{31 - 12}{5} metres \\ \\ \sf \implies \: pieces \: of \: cloth = \frac{19}{5} metres

Hence, Pieces of cloth = \sf\frac{19}{5}metres.
