Step-by-step explanation:

Hi ,

Rational number between any two

rational numbers a and b

= ( a + b )/2

i ) If a = 4 , b = 6

rational number between 4 and 6

= ( 4 + 6 )/2 = 10/2 = 5

ii ) If a = 4 , b = 5

rational number between 4 and 5

= ( 4 + 5 )/2 = 9/2 = 4.5

iii ) if a = 5 , b = 6

rational number between 5 and 6

= ( 5 + 6 )/2 = 11/2 = 5.5

Therefore ,

4 < 4.5 < 5 < 5.5 < 6

4.5 , 5 , 5.5 are three rational numbers

between 4 and 6

you can find more by taking any of the above numbers
