how many reactangular bricks of 15cm×12cm will be required to cover a square floor of side 18 cm?

Answer:

Area of floor = 4×3 = 12 sqm

Tile each side is 18 cm = 0.18m

Area of tiles is 0.18×0.18 = 0.0324 sqm

No of tiles = 12/0.0324 = 370 nos
