Given : Rectangle having one side  8 cm  & area 12 cm²

To find : Number of rectangles can be drawn

Solution:

Area of rectangle  = Length * Breadth

Area of rectangle  =  12 cm²

One side = 8 cm

Another side = x  cm

Area  = One side * another side

=> 12 = 8 * x

=> x = 1.5  cm

Hence only one rectangle is possible

as Sides are  8 cm   &  1.2  cm

only one rectangle is possible

Given:

rectangle area= 12 cm^2

one side= 8cm

To find:

find rectangles.

Solution:

Formula:

\bold{\ Area \ of \ rectangle = a \times b}\\\\

where a, b is sides.

Solve:

\Rightarrow 12 = 8 \times b\\\\\Rightarrow 12 = 8b \\\\\Rightarrow b = \frac{12}{8} \\\\

\Rightarrow b = \frac{3}{2}\\\\\Rightarrow b=1.5

If we multiple the a and b value it will give:

\Rightarrow 8 \times 1.5\\\\\Rightarrow 12.0\\

that's why there are only one rectangle is possible.
