how many rectangles of 5cm*2cm can fit in a square that has one side 10cm long?

We will find area's first,

Area of rectangle=L×B
=L×B
=5×2
=10 cm^2

Area of square= side^2
=10^2
=10×10
=100 cm^2

Now divide them,

100/10
=10

The answer is 10 rectangles.Means 10 rectangles can be fit.

area of rectangle =5*2=10
area of square=10*10=100
triangles that can be fit in that box is 100/10=10
10 boxes can be fit in the square box
